About myself

I am a computational seismologist, primarily interested in numerical simulations of seismic waves and seismic imaging. High-performance computing (HPC) techniques are at core of my research. I am an experienced programmer, especially in the field of scientific computing.

Currently, I am working at Caltech as a postdoctoral researcher. Before that, I was a PhD student at University of Toronto.

I have strong enthusiasm in mathematics. I use math theories, especially those related to numerical computation and inverse problems, to guide my research.

Teaching is a major passion for me. I enjoy conveying ideas and concepts to others.
